Because Taekwon-Do is such an effective Martial art and if misused can cause serious injury to other parties, the classes are split into junior and adult sessions. This ensures that the adults can learn the full range of techniques in a more disciplined environment, while the juniors can learn with a more fun, relaxed approach. Our members at the moment range from 6 to 40+. It is a common mistake for people to assume that Tae Kwon-Do is 'all kicking'. However there are many more hand techniques (blocks and strikes) in Tae Kwon-Do than kicks.
The classes are structured to incorporate all the elements of the Taekwon-Do syllabus and can normally include the following activities:

Warm up, Stretching, fundamental Movements, Pad work, Sparring, Patterns, Self Defence, Destruction and Warm down.
